Cross & Anchor began in 2019 when Pastor Josh and Emily Bowers felt a call from God to start a life giving church in the heart of Detroit. With the heart to see new life in Detroit through Jesus Christ a team of about 30 people joined to plant Cross & Anchor in March of 2019 in a production studio in Detroit’s North End. We have met in A lot of different spaces and have grown in size and impact over time.

God has been weaving together a beautiful community of people and bringing our stories in sync to tell His story in this amazing city.
